  • The natural gas, after being superheated and desulfurized, is mixed with superheated deionized water vapor and enters the natural gas reformer, where a reforming reaction occurs at 800 degrees Celsius to generate hydrogen and carbon monoxide. It then enters the heat exchanger to exchange heat with the raw water and then enters the medium-temperature shift converter, where carbon monoxide reacts with water vapor at around 400 degrees Celsius to produce carbon dioxide. Finally, a mixed gas of hydrogen (80%) and carbon dioxide (20%) is produced. In the pressure swing adsorption unit, hydrogen and carbon dioxide are separated, and the purity of hydrogen can reach 99.99%-99.999%, which is then supplied to users.

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) mainly consists of four PSA towers and a set of valves. By utilizing different states of the four PSA towers and valves, the feed gas is adsorbed separately, achieving the effect of continuously producing pure hydrogen. Other impurities in the hydrogen are discharged through the desorbed gas pipeline. When any tower is in the adsorption state, impurities such as carbon dioxide in the mixed gas passing through the molecular sieve adsorption layer are absorbed, and pure hydrogen reaches the user through the pipeline at the top of the tower.
